  the three sites into one site called jw.org. The Web site will be completely redesigned. It will be
  appealing and easy to navigate using either a computer or a mobile device."

  Witness evangelists will still be calling door-to-door but Witness leaders are expecting their message will reach many more people via the Internet.

  If this is the case, is there any hope of field service becoming a thing of the past or cut down to some degree? Most JWs enjoy the ministry as much as they enjoy diarreah.

  I am so confused by the JW's saying the UN is the 8th king

  has jw's always taught this that the un is the 8th king?

  i just happen to stumble across the june study watchtower at my aunt's home and glanced throught the mag and saw this teaching.

  i don't remember the jw's teaching this back when i was in.

  Over time the WTS has massaged who the 8th king is...the League of Nations, the UN, elements in the UN, etc. But most jws still expect that certain countries in the UN will turn against all religion. The WTS has backed away from the UN directly doing this but elements within it.

  They're weasling their way out of the nonsense they've taught for so many years about false religion being turned on. I still feel like an idiot for passing out those tracts stating that the end of false religion was coming real soon. It was a waste of time, and a waste of paper. Now they're attempting to weasle out of it similar to how they did with This Generation, and what is and what does not constitute blood. Man they're sideways serpents.

  ...I was 'oh no you di'n't, you are going, if I have to be your date" haha. I needed to live vicariously thru her getting to do what I didn't get to do.

  Turns out she had a great time, and was glad she went.

  This made me feel good for the day.

  Piper tells KSTP-TV's Mark Saxenmeyer that she missed her own prom and couldn't turn down Stone's invitation.

  I never thought I would be able to relate to this as I didn't go to the prom as it was tabboo for JW kids, and during those years I didn't care anyway. Only lately do I look back and feel like I missed something. Oh well.

  The school needs to back off on that, and let her attend.

  he saw an inordinate amount of 'boiler operators' on the payroll and noticed that they made an inordinate amount of money.
